  • “Design and feature-set of Pocket Lists makes it something rather more interesting that just another run-of-the-mill to-do application.”

  • “This app has the same dependability as Apple’s core iOS apps that come installed on your device. It has yet to let me down.”

  • “After downloading every list or to do app I come across, I have finally stopped looking. This app makes to do's and lists very simple to create, sync with calendar and review. It is quick and easy, as making a list should be. Very happy and have deleted all the others.”

★  A superb upgrade for iOS 5's Reminders app!  ★

The ultimate checklist & to-do app

“Pocket Lists is a clean, powerful, and thoroughly polished checklist & to-do app for your iPhone or iPod touch.

Myself, I always wanted to have a reliable and friendly productivity app, but couldn't find a perfect one either on the Web or in the App Store. That is why we have created Pocket Lists, and I hope you will share our excitement about the app.”

Vladimir V. Tuporshin
Pocket Lists app designer, 1312 team

To-do Lists

To-dos are grouped in lists, which is an easy and universal way of organizing. No matter what your to-dos are: a new project, a grocery list which you will discard once it is completed, global traveling plans, movies to watch, books to read, software bugs to fix, gift ideas — lists give you the freedom of always having these things at hand. All in one app.

Multi-line View

Working with to-dos is a joy: clear multi-line view, colored lists, dozens of beautiful list icons, smooth ride with lists containing 1000+ to-dos.

Quick Inline Add

Adding to-dos just couldn’t be quicker — tap “plus” icon and start typing a new to-do right away. Then tap “Next” to add another one.

No dialogs, no wizards, no unnecessary questions.

Understands English

Talk to Pocket Lists just if it were a real person: when adding a to-do, simply write the due date as plain text:

— meeting tomorrow morning
— car service saturday 7pm
— prepare christmas gift list on dec 20
— cinema fri night
— soccer game every week on sunday

See more examples.

Human Language requires iOS 4.0 or higher.

To-do Hierarchy

Swipe to-dos left or right to define hierarchy.
Up to 5th level!

Create Lists from Real Photos iPhone 4+

Yes, it really works! Create checklists from real photos using built-in optical character recognition (OCR) mechanism. Pocket Lists will scan your photo and create a list from the text that it could recognize.

Awesome for creating checklists based on the content you find in print media; e.g. cookbook recipes.

The OCR function is completely standalone, no Internet connection is required.

For OCR functionality iPhone 4 or later is highly recommended because of the higher camera quality and better performance. OCR will also work on older models (iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS), but may not offer stable and satisfactory text recognition results.

Reminders, Priorities, Notes

Every to-do can containt a text note, be assigned a priority level (not set, low, medium, high), and have a due date or time.

A due date can also be set for the entire to-do list.

Due Notifications

Pocket Lists app always notifies you when your next to-do is due. This is a personal assistant you can rely on.

Due Notificatons require iOS 4.2 or higher.

Location-based Notifications

Pocket Lists app notifies you about to-dos when you arrive to or leave from a location. Set locations directly on a map with a radius from 100 ft (50 m) to 40 mi (60 km) or choose from the address book.

Location-based notificatons require iPhone 4 or 4S with iOS 5.0 or higher, and will not work on iPod touch and iPhone 3GS.

Copy & Paste Add

When adding to-dos, copy and paste text from an email, a note or a web page. Pocket Lists will split pasted text into lines and create multiple to-dos promptly.

Perfect for checklists you find on the Internet; e.g. instructions, packing lists, project checklists, emails.

Syncs

Pocket Lists is integrated with Google Tasks, Toodledo and your local iPhone Calendar app (syncing with Calendar requires iOS 4.0 or higher). All these integrations can be used in your app at a time, thus making your Pocket Lists app a great to-do aggregator.

New integration extensions for other popular services to come: Basecamp, Remember The Milk, and others.

To-do Stream

This is what makes Pocket Lists a real productivity app rather than another ordinary checklist. The Stream screen displays all your to-dos and lists, presenting them in the priority & due order.

You can add to-dos directly to the Stream just as into a regular checklist; which is useful when you have not yet decided, which is the right list to put a to-do into.

Repeating To-dos

Repeating to-dos utilize the repeat-after-completion model: whenever you complete a repeating to-do, it is automatically resumed on the next due date.

Repeating can be set both for a single to-do and for an entire to-do list.

Icons

Lots of beautiful icons for to-do lists.

Shake to Resort

When working with to-dos, shake your iPhone to drop all completed to-dos to the bottom, ousting actual and priority to-dos to the top of the list.

Completed!

When a to-do list is completed, start it over or archive it promptly.

Tweet iOS 5 only

Tell you followers every time you complete an important to-do list!

Passcode-protected Lists

Protect individual secret lists with 4-digit passcodes.

“Multiplayer” Mode

A perfect way to go shopping with your spouse, or to pack luggage together!

Connect two or more iPhones with the running Pocket Lists app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and collaborate on your lists. No Internet connection is required (the feature is powered by Apple’s Gamekit engine which is usually utilized in games).

Cloud syncing over the Internet is coming soon and will be available in addition to the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity.
