Can I manually sort to-dos and to-do lists?

Yes. To sort lists, tap “Edit” button in the top left corner on the app's “Lists” screen.
To sort to-dos inside a list, tap this icon in the bottom right corner.

Is there a way for automatic to-do sorting?

No, the app does not support automatic sorting, but offers a nice way to quickly update a to-do list by shaking your device — this will drop all completed to-dos to the bottom of the list, and move all priority and due to-dos to the top.

What is Stream?

Stream is a to-do hub which collects priority and due to-dos among all your lists, allowing you to stay on top of things you need to do. Only active (uncompleted) to-dos with priority or due date are shown in the Stream.

You can add to-dos directly into the Stream (e.g. if you are not decided which is the right list to put a to-do into).

How does OCR (image to checklist) work?

OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition. It reads text from an image (photo) and creates a checklist splitting fetched text by lines. When inside a list, tap on a camera icon for OCR. Available only inside a list, and not in the Stream.

Works offline and for typewritten text only. Powered by Tesseract OCR engine.

If you are an OCR engine provider (ABBYY, is it you?), and offer a non-sales-commission-based offline OCR engine, please contact us.

Sync fails! What do I do?

If for any reason you have a problem syncing the Pocket Lists app with an external service, please email us your sync logs. In the app go to Settings → View Sync Log → Send To Developers (logs are emailed directly from the app as an attachment). In the email please describe what kind of syncing problem you noticed. We will explore your logs and try to find the solution.

Does it sync with Reminders app and Siri?

No :( APIs for integrating with the Reminders app and Siri are not available at the moment. As soon as Apple introduce these APIs, we will rollout sync options shortly. We can't wait to make this available in the app!

For now only sync with the Calendar app is available, and it is different than the Reminders app.

Is there an iPad version?

Not yet. We plan to release Pocket Lists for various popular platforms in the future. However, new apps will be introduced after we implement everything we initially planned for the iPhone version (and we have very interesting features to come!). The first new app will be the app for iPad. For today we do not disclose ETAs on any of the upcoming apps. Please take a look at the Pocket Lists’s roadmap.

Is there a web access for my to-dos and lists?

Yes. Please use built-in sync options with Google Tasks or Toodledo to access your to-dos in a web browser. For best experience with Google Tasks we recommend using its full screen mode: https://mail.google.com/tasks/canvas

In the future we plan to introduce web access right on this website (PocketListsApp.com). See the app roadmap.

I have a feature suggestion. Where do I send it?
